You may reach Los Roques Archipelago National Park by air and sea. If the choice is sea, through private boats and the journey varies between 8 to 10 hours of navigation from La Guaira port (closest port to Caracas –by land- and to Los Roques –by sea-)

However, to take a flight is the most commonly choice, either from the Maiquetía International Airport (serving Caracas) or from Margarita Island (at the east of Venezuela). In both cases, commercial or private aircraft land at Gran Roque Airport which is suitable for small airplanes and light aircraft. Flights from Maiquetía International Airport will take 35 minutes so far. Several airline companies cover this route: Aerotuy, Chapy and Transaven.
